It is not very hot and umid in end of August,but it is very hot right now 38degree.Some county of Chongqing is as hot as 40degree.This summer is hottest season since 47years.I am working in a cruise ship company,probably you can transfer a cruise ship down the river to tour amazing Yangtze three gorges and new dam,after Chongqing trip.For more information,please reach yahoo.com.cn|jimmy_yj88
