Is a Yangtse cruise worth it?

I will have only 18 days in China, my plan includes a Yangtse cruise. If you were in my situation, would you go for the Yangtse trip or try to find something else? Thanks for your help (again)!

I just turn back from the Yangtze cruise ,it is a memorable trip , I spent almost 5 days and I enjoyed it very much

If you don't have the time you can always do a short section of it by Hydrofoil. Check the travel tips -transport for Chongqing and Yangzte River.
I just did from Wanzhou to Yichang stopping at Badong overnight to visit

Shennong stream which is certainly worth it. Last section from new dam to Yichang is by bus but it is included in the price.

I'll write up more about allthis later next month when I have some more time.
