hi all,
can any one tell me how can one go from Hohhot to Chengde directly? I have checked trains! but it seems that one has to change the trains from Beijing. Is there any long route BUS which can go directly from Hohhot to Chengde without going to Beijing or even without changing any other bus?

I would like to do the same in september but in the other direction: Chengde to Hohhot. Did you do it? Did you find without going through Beijing?
