Wangfujing - Good Hotel Location?

Hi all,

I am about to book my hotel stay and have read from a few reviews that Wangfujing is a good area to stay in as its near the Forbidden City and the shopping etc...

Please could someone suggest the best location in Beijing to book a hotel for the purposes of Tourism,

Yes, hotels that are located near Wangfujing(Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City) are the best choices for travelers.

I think any place on #1 subway line within #2subway circle are very convenient. There is many places to visit in Beijing, you anyway move around the city. Tax cost 15-30RMB from one sight seeing spot to another, not expensive.
