 | Greetings! I'm a new member in this forum and very very happy to be here. I love this site; very informative. By the way, could anybody tell me more about Fuzhou city? I'm planning to study Mandarin at Fujian Normal University this September for 6 months. My questions are; Is there any English bookstore in fuzhou? How about movie theater showing hollywood flick?(this is for my leisure hours)hehe. Does fuzhou people speak english? Is there a train connecting fuzhou and hongkong? Please tell me more about Fuzhou City. It will really mean a lot to me. Thanks, I will be waiting for your responses... Cheers, Ernest |

| Hi,Ernest, Welcome to come here and China:-) Is there any English bookstore in fuzhou? As the capital of Fujian province,I think there are english bookstores. | No direct train between Fuzhou and Hong Kong. Either take train 2271/2274 (2112--1750, 20h38min) from Fuzhou to Shenzhen and then cross to Hong Kong by train/bus/ferry, or take a bus to Xiamen and then an overnight ferry to Hong Kong. |
