Are there any significant benefits to landing in one international airport rather than the other? The only place I think it might matter is Hong Kong vs Guangzhou International Airports. My working plan is to arrive Guangzhou, train to Chengdu, Xian, Tianjin, and then depart Shanghai. Of course there will be several side trips on my 6 week trip. I expect the itinerary to change a few times between now and the time I book the flights. I am even entertaining the idea of teaching English in China for a year or two. It must have something to do with this old guy's "mid-life crisis" ;)
