Guangzhou to Shenzhen

Hi,
Will be travelling from Guangzhou to Shenzhen in August. Pls advise what's the easiest and safest mode of transportation to Shenshen. Have anyone stayed in Shanshui Fashion Hotel in Luohu before? Appreciate if you could share your experience. Would want to do some shopping there. Is this hotel situated in a shopping area? Pls advise if you have other choices of 3/4-star hotels with convenient location - easily accessible by metro.

I think you can take a train from Guangzhou to Shenzhen,about 1h,70RMB.

the Shanshui Fashion Hotel is located in the most prosperous commercial area in Shenzhen, therefore, large shopping centers are found around.

Hi Veronsym, Guangzhou is a great place for shopping and food. Be careful in crowded places, lots of pickpockets. Be very careful of liitle girls who sell flowers in the street esp. in front of the pier where you board the boat for the Pearl River cruise. They will cling on to your legs and won't let go until you pay a ransom. Have a great time

Thanks for the suggestion and your prayers, too, haha. Does the train or bus from Guangzhou to Shenzhen stop near Shanshui Fashion Hotel in Luohu? Is it cumbersome and advisable to walk from the station to the hotel with our luggage?
