Hi, I want to travel to Suzhou, Kunshan and Hangzhou. I will arrive in Shanghai and spend a day there. Is it easy to get trains to each of these places from Shanghai? Is one day in each enough? I have no idea of the distances between these places. Help is appreciated and any info on places to stay would be appreciated. Thanks! gaia

Hi Gaia,

It is easy to get trains to Suzhou and Kunshan. I am not sure the distance between Shanghai and Suzhou in km, but it takes about 40min~1hour by train. Kunshan is located 55km away from Shanghai, and takes about 30 to get there by train, there are lots of trains to choose, seems whenever you get to the railway station, you can catch one:) I think one day in each place is enough.

As rita said,Kunshan and Suzhou are both near Shanghai,about 1hour to Suzhou,30min to Kunshan.

From Shanghai to Hangzhou,there were many trains and buses,don't worried about this!

I think,two days is for Suzhou,and three days for Hanghzou.
