| Too many trains to list them all down for Nanjing -- Shanghai. Please use the train search function on this website yourself! Yes, the train to Lhasa is still operational during winter. Departures every other day. |

| Please do not type in all capital letters as it's considered the online equivalent of yelling and VERY rude. The fastest train for Guangzhou -- Shanghai is T100 leaving at 1810 and arriving in Shanghai at 1110, taking exactly 17 hours. Note that this train departs from Guangzhou East train station. Soft sleepers cost 558/584 RMB for upper/lower bunk, one-way. The slowest train takes 20h41min (3h41min longer) and the same soft sleepers would cost 544/568 RMB. Not much of a savings and I don't think it's worthwhile. Kid prices do not depend on the age of the kid but their height. 1.1m and below ride for free but they'll have to share your bunk ie they don't get their own bunk. 1.1-1.4m get half price and their own bunk. |

GUEST13477 | Does that mean if 2 adults travel and buy 2 extra half price kid's tickets, they can have the the whole cabin of 4 bunks to themselves ? |

| You need to produce the kids when you board the train. Otherwise the bunks will be treated as no-show and the train attendants are free to sell the bunks to other passengers who want to upgrade. |
