How to get to Fuzhou from Xiamen?

This September, I'll be leaving for Fuzhou to learn Mandarin. I learn that there is no direct plane route from Manila to Fuzhou, so they advice me to land in Xiamen first. My queries are; what is the cheapest way of transportation getting to Fuzhou from Xiamen. I will be carrying 2 huge luggages and it might be a little inconvenient for me to take public buses. If I take taxi, how much will it cost me? Is there a regulatory taxi rate from Xiamen to Fuzhou? Just curious, is Fuzhou as clean and organize as Xiamen? Does Fuzhou experienced snowfall in winter? RITA Points: Join Date: May 10, 2005 Status: Offline	I agree with California. There are no direct trains between the two cities. But there are over 10 routes of public bus running every day. Don't worry about your huge luggages, there are place in the bus to put them away. Taking taxi will cost too much.

I suggest you take the long distance bus at the exit of the domestic arrival hall. There is a counter called "陆空联运". There you can buy the ticket.
