Hi Clive,
If you have your tickets reserved, you won't have any problem flying on that day.

hi
there is usually a 5 or seven-day holiday for the chinese, and the national day holiday is a dolden week for tourism. therefore, when you make your plan, please book your ticket, hotel beforehand since the number of people going to travaling usually reaches a peak of the year during this holiday and the May Day holiday.
have a good trip!

I'm going to be travelling through China from the end of september
to mid october. I'm afraid I have understimated the National Day:
I've heard that it will almost impossible to do anything in China
from 1. - 7. October and I'm considering to change my travel plans
to avoid this week. Do I have to do it, or are the warnings
exaggerated?

Thanks,
Mattias
