hi I'm going to hangzhou in 2 weeks and i am looking for as much advice as can get!
Any advice will be much appreciated.

Hangzhou is a beautiful city and very pleasant. What kind of suggestions do you want to get?

you can stay near west lake, there are some nice hotels.
besides west lake,you can go to see Linyin Temple, Songcheng is a quite nice place also,you will be interested in it,i think.
If you want night life, go to Nanshan Lu(Nanshan Rd), there are plenty of bars.
