Sanya appartment prices in Sanya Bay/Dadongahi/Yalong Bay

I'm wondering if anyone can let us know what are the present price trends for appartments in the Sanya region, particularly along and close to the waterfronts of the more renowned bays: Sanya Bay, Dadonghai and Yalong Bay?

Compared to last year, did the prices continue to climb, did they level or did they begin to decrease?

Apartments in Sanya, particularly along and close to the beach are from RMB6,000-RMB12,000/sqm. Of course, the prices is climbing all the time. Not only Sanya, but also other cities in Hainan, especially Sanya and Haikou.

The price is always on the they increase, in front of th sea is from 8000yuan/m2. in the city it is cheaper around 5000yuan/m2. normaly the price increase two or three times per year since 2003. in the future it will continu.

Chinese are noisy people. We love noise as it signifies life. Be sure this is the type of environment that you wanna reside in.
As an alternative if you must live in China but do not like the noise, find a place high in the mountain or forest. To this, I suggest ChangBaiShan.
ChangBaiShan is quiet, serene and beautiful. And it is cheap and property prices will go up - in 100 yrs time.

Be aware that if you are not a Chinese national, or Chinese now with foreign nationality, you can only buy property after you have been a resident for a set period of time, 12 months I think. And of course residency is not just presence in the country. The new rules came in a couple of months ago to try and stem the price rises in some cities, tho most of the hot money is internal.

Anyway if this is critical to you u can research further

yes, it is a new indication by the government, not law yet. then each province has their special application, further more there is no control on it. until now, foreigners can buy no problem
