Hi there, i've just formally accepted a position to teach english at YuCai International Primary School starting quite soon. At the moment i am in England but will be travelling to China once the formalities are completed. This will be my first time in China and i will be travelling alone.
So any tips or advice will be very much appreciated.

Thanks for the advice, i'm now teaching/living in Hankou and it's really interesting being here. The area is very diverse with many different ways you can explore and sample the different cuisines, sites and experiences. It's still hot and humid here at the moment, whilst in Blighty it's about 15c. The other teachers and the local people are very friendly and helpful, and to go into town by taxi or bus is always memorable!
