The term Eurasians are quite vague.

In Asia, the Eurasians are of mixed parentage between Asians & Europeans.

So I suppose the mixed parentage of Americans & Asians are called Amerasians.

How do the chinese refer to these kids of mixed parentage?

But surely given the current preferred term in the USA of Afro-American, it should follow that we refer to Afrasians and Eurasians (sorry, don't know what to do for Native American equivalents).

But perhaps we could just call them 'people' instead :)

I believe the origins of that word have it defining a geographically connected land mass. I have never heard it used to describe a group of people.

As far as I'm aware, Eurasian is an ethnic term as well as a geographcial term - so there wouldn't be a term for kids with American-Asian parentage, because aside from the American Indians, there's no such thing as being ethnically American!
