![]() | The Chinese bakeries I visited in Calgary, Alberta, Canada did not have any Moon cakes. (I believe the festival is October 6th!) Does anyone have a recipe for moon cakes that is easy enough for person without baking talent might to be successful with? If that doesn't exist...then a recipe I can take to a local bakery for them to make for me. TIA! |

![]() | It is hard to make mooncake at home I think :( When I was a child , my mother used to make it herself ,I remembered that she had to borrow a mould at first ,then use flour ,water ,egg , some stuffings like peanut ,nut ,black sugar...or something you like , bake at last . You have to put the flour into the mould at first , then stuffings , flour again ,press it tightly ,bake . Not that delicious than the mooncake nowsdays :( |

![]() | For just a few pcs, why bother to bake your own when u can have a entire choice easily in the market ? If u are not living in China and love mooncakes, ask her to send some to you. She will love to as there is a gift idea for her. |
