We were fascinated with this contraption in Yangshuo, very noisy, very smelly but totally fascinating. They carted everything from pigs to people on this and we saw them all over the place in town and in the country. Amazing machines!!

Saw something similar in rural China. Look like these are multi-purpose vehicles for the farmers.
