How much would a real estate person be paid?

My father was a real estate salesman and was paid commissions (a percentage) on what he sold. He was very successful; today my income is less than half of what he made yearly in 1975.

...so my question is: are real estate people in China paid on commission...and do they have their own cars to drive customers around to see property?

Just wondering...

Hi ,Cali ,where are you ? I think this question is for you ,haha~~

I think a real estate salesman has his basic salary ,but most part of his income is from the commission . Most of them do not have their own cars to drive their customers , some companies offer free shuttle bus for their customers to see the property .

Am I right , Cali ?
