Hello
I am an Italian girl , just arrived in Nanjing to learn Chinese.
I am looking for friends cause here I dont have any yet !
And by the way does anyone know where it is possible to attend Chinese classes?

Hi,

you come all the way to Nanjing and have not sorted out a school? I guess you will end up going to Nanjing University.

You can also try New Concept Mandarin or Modern Training.

Hi Rubina,
Welcome to Nanjing. I hope you'll enjoy your stay. While I don;t live in Nanjing, I spent a few weks there this past summer and thoroughly enjoyed it.

One of the highlights was the authentic Italian Restaurant, Bella Napoli, where on most nights you will find some of the somewhat large Italian expat community along with many other expats from around the world and many Chinese who alos appreciate the cuisine. I'm sure once you settle into University you will make some Chinese freinds too and life will be more comfortable.

The restaruant is on the corner of Zhongshan Donglu and Hongwu Lu a block from the Xinjeikou intersection and subway station. Pretty easy to locate. We noticed it fromte bus. there is also a German beerhall and eatery beneath the Jinling Hotel which is at the Xinjeikou intersection in the centre of down town.
