Urgent! From Nanning to Shenzhen

A friend is coming from Nanning to Shenzhen. Is there any bus to Shenzhen from there? or train. I guess maybe its too late to get train ticket now .but what about bus?How many shifts a day?

It's a long Haul on the bus from Nanning to Shenzhen or Guangzhou, around 10 hours plus. Can I suggest a bus to Wuzhou from Nanning which is around 5/6 hours and from Wuzhou to Shenzhen 6 hours. Plenty of cheap hotels in Wuzhou near the east bus station and doubt that it will be very busy there. Can't help with the times but ususally one of two leaving every morning, perhpas another early afternoon.

Your friend should just arrive early at the station and see what's available with the other option of overnighting in Wuzhou. It's worth the stop anyway.
