I will stay in White Swan Hotel on 3rd Oct, I will take the train from HK to Guangzhou East station.

Is the station near that hotel?
Also what can I do in Guangzhou?

The station is not near white swan hotel.Anyway,you wave your hand and then you will be there,lest 30 mins by taxi.Life's good in City.
Very convenient.
Are you the first time to Guangzhou?
