Need to know everything about Chongqing

In around 2 or three months later my friends will stay in Chongqing for a year supervising a ferry build in the city.
So I need to know a lot about Chongqing, the culture, the habit or life style, or anything, including the night life if there are.
Please send me a lot of the information, and I will be glad to make you as my new friends.

Chongqing is a modern city, with an ancient history spanning more than 3,000 years. It is the nation's fourth municipality after Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin.
Being the focal point of the unique Yangtze Three Gorges tourist industry, Chongqing is a tourist attraction as well as being a commercial city.
So many things are worth being visited! The scene spots, culture, people,even the snack are all fantabulous.

How about mass transport in Chongqing and to go further around Chongqing? Do we can get bus or train or something?
