![]() | I have the Collins China map. It is a large map of China and is very good. However, I would like to get maps for each province I plan to visit on my next trip. I believe the extra detail will be useful. Are such maps available? Any online stores that sell them? |

![]() | Oh... What would really be useful is a CD of maps for each province! |

![]() | I always travel with a map and a compass. Even large sites such as the Summer Palace are more easily navigated with a map and a compass. |

![]() | I LOVE maps... I can't really be helpful, except to say that I always use Chinese maps now. It's a great idea to buy a province map in Chinese and then go onto the Internet to translate it. Of course this takes time and energy! If you have a map in Chinese, most Chinese people can at least read the names of places and can help you, if you have a map in English it is only useful to yourself. http://www.muztagh.com/ http://www.maps-of-china.net I've used both these sites in the past. They are English sites with English maps of China and her provinces. Another tip is to try and buy Chinese 'tourist' maps. They often have more unusual places of interest that 'English' maps of China don't cover. |
