Get a letter from your school and go to the PSB to change it to a residence permit. You should've gotten a X or F visa not a L visa.

Its called an extension but what they really do is cacel your current visa and give you a brand new one for 30 days from the day you apply

For the US passport it is 940 Yang / RMB which is 940 / 6.6 = $142 US dollars

(For other countries it is 160 RMB)

Its so high for US because we charge the Chinese just as much so this is a retaliation

I hear that some small town can do it, and the process is quicker

Is there a PSB in Jiaozuo ? Can it issue F visas ? X visas ?
Is there a PSB in Zhengzhou ? Can it issue F visas ? X visas ?
