You need go to local entry and exit management department to extend it. YOu need to provide: passport and valid visa, temporary accommodation proof and bank balance (at least 21000 RMB or 3000 USD).

GUEST85891 I would like to know where and how to extend my L Visa in China, as my Visa only has 60 days before it is due to expire, I wish to get married whilst I am there and need the extra time for visa. I have heard that this could be done at a police station, is this true and at what cost is it ???

You need go to the local Entry and Exit Mangement Department of the local police station to extend it. It costs around CNY 160. You needn't extend it too early. Just do it in seven days in advance before it expires.

You should go to the Entry and Exit Administration Bureau in Zibo to extend your visa. It's located at No.318 Liantong Road in Zhangdian District. You can take No.34, 136 or 160 bus and get off at Huiyigongjugongsi (汇宜工具公司) Station.

I'm currently in Hainan,China
I have a F visa that will expire on the 25th of February 2014,
I need to get an extension while still in China, how can I do that?

You should go to local Entry and Exit Management Bureau immediately. There you can learn how to extend your current one and what documents are required. Please go there at least one week before yours expires.

Hi there, I need to extend my visa in Taiyuan tomorrow. I was there yesterday and no hotel was willing to provide me the proof of accommodation that I need to show at the PSB. Maybe someone has done it there or knows which hotel might be able to do it. Thank you!

From other foreigners' experience, it's easy to acquire this at the reception desk. I think you might find some hotels that are allowed to receive foreign guests. They might provide the accommodation proof.

I find Lily hotel in Taiyuan is one of those who can receive foreign guests. Here is their contact information: 400-669-4199
