Hi Dimsum

As no-one more knowledgeable has replied......I have recently visited Sanya and there are plenty of places to rent, just visit the real estate agents. Of course it will help if you can get alocal Chinese to help you. Of course Sanya is just moving into its busy tourist season.

By the way, I see you have an old thread asking about buying. It is my understanding that in July this year the govt has put a restriction on buying property by foreigners. You must have two years (I think) residency to qualify.
