I'm thinking of visiting Huangshan during the Christmas holiday. Will weather be a problem? Any advice?

Never been to Huangshan before, but it is a must for anyone who want to see the most beautiful mountain in China. Fankly speaking, Winter is not a good season for travelling, esp. for climbing. But if you have no choice, to see the snow-covering pine will be a impressive experience. :-)

Climbed Huang Shan last January and it was just beautiful, the steps can be a bit icy but the temperature is perfect for walking in and you beat all the crowds that fester there during summer, have some warm clothes for when you're up top as nights are pretty cold. But January is an ideal time to go. Enjoy!

Yes, the winter snow scene of Mt.Huangshan is so surprisingly fascinating, travelers still pay more attention to the mountain's blocking time...
