Early April or Early July travel?
Nov 1, 2006 06:06
Hi there everyone, my first post and would like to seek some advice on whether the weather is going to be of any good for travel to the following areas: 1) Huangshan 2) Mt Ermei 3) Guilin 4) Jiuzhaigou 5) Kunming - I have the option of travelling either in early April and also in Early July - what I am not sure of is whether the rain or cold etc at some of these locations is going to cause a problem with sightseeing and given that I only have a few days at each place a few rainy days in one locale can mean me wasting a trip there - would really appreciate any comments. Many thanks in advance!

Hello,

If I were you, I would definitely choose April.

You are right, in some places, the rainy season starts from April or May, but no one could guarantee it won't rain in July, and if it doesn't rain in July, it could be worse. The extreme heat makes almost all the outdoor activities torturous if not impossible.

April is the nicest time to travel to most places in China.

Have a nice trip!
