Does Xuan Ke's band play in Lijiang every night of the year? Specifically, will they be playing in late November 2006? I don't particularly want to travel 6000 miles to hear the concert, only to be told sorry, they're taking a break this week. Please answer soonest- I fly on Sunday 19 November!

Yes, it does play every night. However, the show is VERY popular, so I'd advise getting the tickets in the morning or afternoon of the concert day. I think the tickets were priced at 50, 80 and 100 RMB. The 1st row is reserved for VIPs (or people who have connections).

Also, note that Xuan Ke only comperes for part of the concert. Reason given is that his age is catching up with him!

thanks for reply. I read that the band plays every night but also they take an annual holiday for one week each year
