MONGOL Points: Join Date: Jul 14, 2006 Status: offline	Someone told me that you cannot buy train tickets until 10 days at the earliest before the departure date. Is this true, even for international train tickets (i.e. Beijing to UB) Is this only a rule at the train stations? how about at hotels and travel agencies, can i buy tickets a month in advance? anyone know if I will have trouble buying tickets from Beijing to UB (Ulaanbaator), is there a high demand in Dec? or I am the only person in the world who wants to freeze this winter in the gobi dessert?

ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	This isn't a peak travel season for this route, but I think it's still advisable to go through an agent instead of trying at the train station yourself.
