| The Bingling Temple Caves are definitely worth a visit for anyone who has time on their hands. The whole trip will take at least a day of your time, but it encompass a viewing of the Yellow River, the Liujiaxia Reservoir (a beautiful lipmid reservoir with its Hydro-electric Dam), and the amazing scenery that the cliff face of the gorge and the caves, provide. I don't think attractions in the city as attractive as what have been descripted in travel books. City transport is relatively convenient, given the several dozen bus routes in town. There are also many cabs that run through the night. |

| Of course Lanzhou city is interesting! In the 20km long riverside park, you can listen to the flow the Yellow River which has done so for thousands of years, take a rest at the bench under the willows, or sit wherever you like, you can also see how elderly people entertain themselves, how the local opera are sung and how young lovers enjoy the time together... The five-spring park, the white pogoda park, the Taoism temple, certainly, Binglingsi and Xiahe worth visits if time available. Don't miss the snacks! |
