Hi,

We are in Xian on a tour on December 31st. Any suggestions for where to celebrate the western new year?

both on Christmas Eve and New Year's eve, many people especially those young go to Streets near the Bell Tower. there are huge crowds of people--as the picture show. For a foreigner, i believe it is better to celebrate it in a restaurant with your friends.

I think each bar will hold some parties to celebrate new year,if u have interest,u can join them. It has much fun than strolling on the street :)

Thank you, that is what we had hoped to do. We weren't sure though how much December 31st is celebrated in China.
