looking to go to Hanoi from China, either from Kunming or
Naning, are there trains? anyone know the sechdule, I will take a
bus if there are no trains. Thanks

From Kunming, no train. U can take the bus.

From Nanning, there is a rail service which takes u to the border
town where u switch trains to enter Vietnam.

There's also an international train from Nanning to Hanoi 2 times every week.
