I was wondering if i could purchase train tickets, for destinations
between cities, that are not the city where Im buying the ticket.
so for example, could i purchase a train ticket for Chongqing to
Nanning in Beijing? does anyone also know where i can buy
passenger boat tickets? Yichang to Chongqing.

1) Usually no. Sometimes you can, but don't count on it.
2) I believe there're websites if you search for them.
