train to hanoi

i am going to visit beijing xian and chengdu but then need to get into vietnam to cross to cambodia i have travelled from hanoi to nanning before but not nanning to hanoi now i know the train takes a long time from chengdu to nanning so it might be easier to go back to beijin but on what day does the beijing hanoi train leave i cant seem to find an updated site for this.

i found a site eventually. it says they are thursday and sundays from beijing and tuesday and thursdays from hanoi but it says nothing about how much the fare would be. also im looking at would day the sam train would leave nanning and how much that would cost.
