 | am planing to go to Guangzhou (China) Can anyone please be so kind to advice me if it is possible to buy prepaid sim card for mobile phone in Guangzhou if yes which one is better to call back home in Europe & what is cheap way to travel from airport to railway station, where to stay I want to visit wholesalr market near main railway station which one hotel is good, where can one have nice & cheap Indian food,tell me where I can buy silver jewelry ( WHOLESALE MARKETS) in Guangzhou etc,etc |

| Hello, there are many ways to accomplish this, regarding the SIM. If you have access to e-bay on line, you can put 'Guangzhou SIM card' into the search engine at e-bay and it will give you a company, in Houston, TX, who will supply all that you need as well as complete instructions for use and recharge of the card. Also he can give you info on calling back to your home in the best way. He is a Chinese/American man named Dan. He is very professional, honest, and helpful. I have used him three times previously. There are others here who can advise you on the Indian food and the wholesale markets for jewelry etc. in Guangzhou. You will enjoy your stay in Guangzhou !!! It is getting warmer there now !! |

| Ouden. You do not say what country you come from, you do not say whether you are coming as a businessman or as a student or whatever, nor what you consider 'cheap' or what facilities you expect in your hotel room. I hear some people refer to 500 RMB as cheap for a hotel room because that is cheap in the west... but I consider 60RMB to be cheap (and it is quite basic). In western terms, take a taxi, it is always cheap in China - by western standards. |
