Plants may be a relaxing avocation for many people. One can not only appreciate its charm, but also enjoy a peaceful or other pleasing mood when indulging in them. As for me, I love the nature and rural scenery and would like to be embraced by them.
In China, various plants may have different symbolic meanings. For example, lotus-purity, indifferent from fame and wealth; orchid-loftiness, integrity; poplar, pine-perseverence, braveness; grass-vitality, etc.
Maybe a plant may mean different for you, so which plant do you chrish most? do you like to plant some in your rooms or gardens?

I like all the green creatures :P, and the flowers, too. :))) On my desk plcaed a bonsai of cactus with three prickly, say, flowers (if they were :P) on the top. However, it is not my favorate.

Yes, I use a very good online florist in China, to send flowers to my lao po !!

Even with delivery, they are at least only one quarter to one third of the cost to send the same number of Roses here in the US !!
