Curious to know what Chinese people doing these days. For a long time, a popular saying among children is spread like this: Chinese Lunar calendar (December) 23 sacrifice for the Deity of kitchen (the small new year) 24 clean the house 25 grind bean curd 26 skive meat (usually pork) 27 kill cock 28 braise steamed buns (mantou, usually stuffed) 29 prepare beers or wines 30 make dumplings (Jiaozi) (and also paste couplets) NEW YEAR send greetings for a new year (XIN NIAN HAO)
