| We know that February 14 is Valentine’s Day; however, do you know that there are actually as many as twelve Valentine’s Days in South Korea: January 14: Diary Day The two lovers give a diary to each other on this day to record their romance in a year. February 14: Traditional Valentine’s Day Just follow the western tradition. March 14: White Day The two lovers give white candies to each other, representing their pure love. April 14: Black Day The two lovers go to have a delicious meal on Chinese Zhajiang Noodle (the sauce on the noodle is of a dark color). About the reason why they eat it? Undefined. May 14: Rose Day Boys give beautiful roses to girls on this day. June 14: Kiss Day It is a good chance for lovers to enjoy sweet kiss. July 14: Silver Day The boys can give his girlfriend a silver necklace as a token of their love. August 14: Green Day On this day, lovers usually have an outing to appreciate the charming scenery and the natural green. September 14: Photo Day Take photos to memorize the happy moment. October 14: Wine Day The two go to have a big meal with full-bodied wine. November 14: Movie Day An affecting and heart-warming affectional film is a must for lovers on this day. December 14: Hug Day In the end of the year, a warm hug is always a perfect sum-up for love. |

| Some people say that these Valentine’s days merely are commercial ideas to let people spend more. However, the various festivals on the other hand create chances for people to express their love and enjoy their lives. Another question is that some people, especially boys, consider the large number of presents they need to prepare to be a headache. Umm…:) Are there too many festivals? What’s your opinion on this? |
