| I know of two salsa teachers in Dalian. One Chinese guy who recently started beginners classes near Olympic Square on Sundays, and a Chinese girl who teaches salsa and cha-cha classes at Nirvana gym. There's no official salsa club yet, but sometimes on Friday nights starting around 8:00 some of the students go to Punc bar on Xi'an Lu and practice because they usually play Latin music for a few hours. In a month or two an American salsa teacher may be moving to Dalian from Shanghai, so there might be another class forming soon. You can contact me for more info. |

| I love salsa, but more than salsa, I really love very much merenge. It is so interesting to see you two guys, like Latin music, it never occur to me that I can read such, from people living in China. I have talked to my girl friend about the intensity: and how enjoyable it is the Latin music, specially salsa and merenge. It is harder to get her on the rhythm, but she love’s it, I think she can do great with salsa or merenge. Very good for you. |
