At the first beginning of Qing Dynasty, the most famous poet is Qian Xianyi and Wu Weiye, the two people born in the Yi Time, emphasis the sigh with emotion and the Analects.



The early Confucius said that, what the poet said is the disorder and excessive, all of those are the business of politics. The people who spoke the truth to the king is a loyalty to him and the good medicine to save the world.(Qian Qianyi Comment of Wang Shiqing Last Poem)

 

When he was young, his talented was worked out, and he experienced the prosper and deceased, all that could appeared in his poem.(Si Ku Quan Shu?Abstract of Mei Village Collection)



There other poets such as Gu Yanwu, Wang Fuzhi,Wu Jiaji,Qu Dajun in Qing Dynasty, the poems from the people who without countries were filled with the emotion of sad, forming Yong Tan, which can be seen easily.

Hello Wewe, you seem to very love literature. I also know QIan Qianyi you have mentioned. I think it is '钱谦益', right? He was originally a famous scholor and official of the late Ming Dynasty. His wife is a famous female talent of QInhuai River, named 'Liu Rushi' 柳如是。 They are very patriotic and don't succumb to Qing goverment persisitantly. However, in the end, Qian has realised the fate of Ming and the promise of Qing, so he gave in and became a citizen of Qing.

In fact, I know a little about the poets in the Qing Dynasty except Cao Xueqin-the writer of 'Dream of the Red Chamber'. And, it is siad that the Emperor of Qianlong has done a number of poems but most of which have lost. Some poems of his minister called Ji Yun (also call Ji Xiaolan) are kept to now.
