Accomodation in Guangzhou City & shopping

Hi friends, i'm going to Guangzhou in May. Need your help!!

Looking for a 4-5* star hotel in Guangzhou (prefer near city and shopping area) which cost less than RMB500 per night. Also, i'm not too familiar with the area. Any recommendations for good shopping areas for clothes/watches/accessories??? Thinking of finding some wholesale market there too!!

Haiyin Shopping District

Holiday Inn

China Hotel

There are about ten buildings of garments, watch, accessories markets in guanghzou. it is located near GZ main station. as to the hotel you want, maybe you can try to stay in New mainland hotel, it cost about 350 yuan a day. you can walk to the clothes markets from the hotel , Any problem or inquiry, feel free to call me 020-33350848 or email me to yahoo.com|lindaok60

thanks guys!! didn't know that there were so many replies already...oh 500RMB per nite is very little for Guangzhou?? I'm not too sure, cos so far, my friend was telling me about this hotel called Jia Hua Hotel which costs less than 500RMB and it seems to be 5star...?? Have anyone heard of it?? Is it in Guangzhou or Dongguan??

sorry i am not in Guangzhou city. but if you come be Beijing, i can make you stay in a five star hotel at rate of 600 RMB. the lowest price in Beijing for 5 star

If you need a nice place to stay call Ken Smith 137-1917-4744 China or 217-619-0919 USA. I'm an expat who has several luxury apartments for rent with no bull #%@* attached. All are located next to the Pearl River 5 minutes walk to the under ground "METRO" #2 line, 7 minutes by METRO to the door of both trade fair venues, great location and cheaper than a hotel!
