The main mission of attack nuclear-powered submarine is anti-ship and blockade mine-laying, using torpedo (including nuclear torpedoes), cruise missiles, mines, as their main offensive weapons. Surely, they have another very important mission——destroy enemy’s strategy nuclear-powered submarine (Ballistic missile submarines).

Now let’s look at the strategy nuclear-powered submarine.
They can be called ballistic missile submarines either. The main mission of them is destroy enemy’s strategy target with submarine-launched ballistic missiles, when receiving the order. Of course, they should avoids to be detected by those attack submarine.
