WEWE00 Points: Join Date: Feb 25, 2007 Status: offline	The first batch of students abroad was after Westernization Movement, in September 1871 Zeng Guofan, Li Hongzhang Ching Ping sending students abroad. August 11, 1872, Chen Lanbin, Rong Han lead the first batch of students which is the first time in modern Chinese history. Juveniles aged from 12 to 14 years ,the total amount is 30 to the United States, including Liang Dunyan, Zhan Tianyou, Tang Shaoyi. After that they sent 30 people each year, were sent four batches in all.
