Are Contact lens bad for our eyes?

GUEST69158 i have been wearing glasses for about 3 years now i am an indian and there is lot of pollution i want to try out lens but i am scared and my optholmologist is againt it if anyone could tell me how it feels after wearing them that would really be help

About that comment of european and asian eyes being different... I'm asian and I wear american contact lenses and so far they've worked PERFECT.

Just make sure you clean your contacts and replace them often, and you won't even notice them there most of the time!

GUEST16198 how do i know if my contacts are bad for me and they are the ones with just the colours, my eye also feels as if there is something in it after i take them out please help is this normal ?

GUEST45133 Contacts these days do not damage your eye sight they are very easy to use and if you fear putting glass into your eyes get the ones that you change out every month they are easy and cheap! if your eyes get red it means the contacts are too old or fried out in that case just get a new pair Ive been wearing mine for a while they are perfect i cant feel them at all!

GUESTLEEG Contacts are actually better for your eyes than glasses. I haven't worn contacts yet but this is what the doctors say. Also contacts help slow down your eyes getting worse. I personally believe this.

I don't wear contacts because I have to work in front of a computer all day. Once I tried and found out that my eyes became sore and dry. Since then, I have been wearing a pair of glasses.

GUEST52158 ive been wearing contact lens for about two years ive never had a problem with them. Just make sure that you follow your doctors instructions, and be very careful when it comes to taking them off and putting them in,
