Yes, for Yao Ming, Many like watching the games of Rockets. It's he who makes NBA even more popular in China. It's said that another Chinese baketball sportsman is going to compete for NBA. If I don't remember wrong, there was another Chinese in NBA before Yao Ming.

Yao Ming is a genius. You know that genius cannot be trained to be. If Yao Ming retires, I am sure that no basketball player can replace him.
