It looks at this war from the people's eyes. All thing are focusing on the things people concern, such as food, family and so on. As Jin-si knew that his brother Jin-tae had mutinied, he called back to the battlefield, even the captain refused his request, and asked Jin-si:" You are for the military or your brother?" Finally, Jin-si used his action to answer the question——for my brother! From this aspect, the film is successful.

In addition, the movie has inherited the South Korea's habit: to move people. However, that's too rampant——in order to be sensational, the movie becomes non-rational. Jin-tae is an example. After defected to the enemy, he becomes a beast, a killing frenzy. The reason is that the war took away his fiancee and brother, but he originally deserves a happier life. The movie just states little explanation about Jin-tae, usually he is a silent elder-brother who undertakes everything.

　Here, I would like to ask an ancient problem: why should we shoot war movies?>? to reflect, awaken, entertainment and leisure……? Whom are these war films to shoot for? Spend huge amount of money in the end for what? There are many answers, perhaps everyone has his own issue. And in my opinion, the war films will not elimate the war, I hope it will have a little bit effect to suppress war, just a little. From where I can see? Perhaps from the attitude of the movie towards the war!

　"TaeGukGi" collapses the serious nature of the war, revert the color of this farce. The soldiers are not masters of the story, where the team is not regular. Instead, a small group of people was temporarily linked battlefield, before the war began, they had their own personal life. They didn't care about the ideology、political parties or anything else, indeed, they just wanted to live, to survive, to choose a better life at the limited freedom. For the war, they had to admit the fate, began to defend themselves, not to been killed, or to kill other. This is the tragedy.

　Maybe there is the most appropriate lines to describe the war——" *** off the war, it's nothing for me!"
