Hey LP, you stimulated me to look into this further because I thought the flowers are poisonous - but they aren't. However the whole plant has diuretic and laxative properties (especially the root) so I would suggest not eating too much. 'A case of a little of what you fabncy does you good' says an old English language song.... but not too much!

that looks like morning glory flowers, a plant that creeps rapidly over a garden fence, or invading a tree. It should be noted that applying plant extraits externally is one thing and taking them internally is another. Some common herbs are used in cooking but any culinary use of less common ones should be cautious.
