KYML07 Points: Join Date: Mar 22, 2007 Status: offline	Hi to all seasoned travellers out there Iam planning a trip in June and looking for train service between Huangshan to Chengdu, and from Chengdu to DongXin (Not sure if spelling is correct as i cannot find it in the destination list.. translated into Chinese is East Happy, boardering Vietnam). can anyone tell me how much would the train ticket cost and how long would the journey take. MAY001 Points: Join Date: Sep 28, 2005 Status: Offline	I don't think there are direct trains from Huangshan to Chengdu. I assume you mean Dongxing? Which province? There are many Dongixng in China.

JABAROOTOO Points: Join Date: Jul 4, 2005 Status: Offline	Yunnan Railway border city into Vietnam is Hekou. Not sure if you can cross the border any other place if you are traveling into Vietnam. Read the travel reviews about this trip as it has some dangers for the unseasoned traveller.

JABAROOTOO Points: Join Date: Jul 4, 2005 Status: Offline	Huangshan is not on a rail line but there are plenty of centres nearby. Jingdezhen No direct train Tongling No direct train Jiujiang K392 30 hours Hefei 1432 very slow 30 plus hours Nanjing K282 and K290 both about 30 hours

DRAGONESS0120 Points: Join Date: Mar 28, 2007 Status: Offline	Huangshan(IN Anhui province ) to Chengdu(Sichuan province ):If by trian, it will take 1or 2 days. Chengdu to DongXin(if it near Vietnam it must called Dongxing(there is no train as I know) in Guangxi province) :it will take 2-3days,you can take train from Chengdu to Nanning,after you arrvied Nanning ,I think take bus to Dongxing is the best way. Have good tirp!
