I also have had that banquet before. At last, we had the souped dumpling dish. The waitress said that the different number of the dumplings in your soup would bring you with different kind of good fortune. However, there is no mini-dumpling in my soup. So sad! To my surprise, the girl said that it indicated I would be carefree for ever! LOL!!! Of course, I have a bowl of that soup again with dumplings!

Defachang, Xi'an, Sharif. It's a traditional restaurant serving dumplings. There are many kinds of stuffings inside, not only pork, but also other meat, fish, nuts, vegetable, etc.
